<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating method for a piston rod section of a cylinder in exhaust emission control equipment for preventing the adhesion of contents of exhaust gas to a piston rod of the cylinder for reciprocating and moving a poppet type damper and the occurrence of dew condensation. <P>SOLUTION: In this heating method for the piston rod section of the cylinder in the exhaust emission control equipment, a plurality of exhaust gas supply and exhaust ports 2, 3 in a heat storage combustion type exhaust emission control device 1 for burning and treating the exhaust gas containing combustible toxic contents such as a volatile organic compound are opened and closed by operating a plurality of poppet type dampers 6, 7 reciprocated and moved by the extension and contraction operation of the cylinders 8, 9 in an interlocking relationship to supply or exhaust exhaust gas into/from the heat storage combustion type exhaust emission control device 1. A part of the treated exhaust gas exhausted from a plurality of exhaust gas supply and exhaust ports is fed into sections around a part where the exhaust gas is exposed to the atmosphere when the poppet type dampers in the piston rod section of the cylinder move backward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
