<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of providing high usability by preventing toner fusion on each recording paper sheet in a configuration without causing cost increase and upsizing and without unnecessarily deterioration in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a transfer means (intermediate transfer belt 8) for transferring toner images on the recording paper; and a detecting means (CPU 171) for detecting a toner use amount used in prescribed regions of the toner images transferred on the recording paper by the transfer means. In addition, the image forming apparatus includes a control means (CPU 171) for controlling so as to widen the conveying intervals of the recording paper when it is judged that a toner use amount of the prescribed region is a prescribed amount or more based on the detection result of the detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
