PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string pressing structure of a compact stringed instrument having an automatic performance function by bringing a string pressing member into contact with a string by a driver, thereby forming a vibration edge point. SOLUTION: The string pressing structure 10 is composed of: the string pressing member 23 for forming the vibration edge point of the string 13 in contact with the string 13 which moves back and forth from a surface side of a finger plate 12; a solenoid 21 provided at the back face of the finger plate 12; and a driving lever 22 for transmitting driving force of the solenoid 21 to the string pressing member 23. The string pressing member 23 is composed of a pair of members in contact with different two positions of one string 13, while the solenoid 21 is composed of a device which shifts an output axis 21b to two opposite directions, and the driving lever 22 is composed of a pair of members for transmitting the driving force of the solenoid 21 to the pair of string pressing member 23. Moreover, a guide section 24 which accommodates the string pressing member 23 so as to be moved back and forth is provided on the back face side of the finger plate 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
