PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the position of a nozzle protector to be highly precisely controlled without enlargement of an apparatus. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 3 which delivers an ink towards a printing paper 30 is equipped with an inkjet head 41 with a nozzle face 42a provided with a plurality of nozzles 84, a dielectric elastomer 45 arranged in the periphery of the nozzle face 42a and integrally provided to the inkjet head 41, a pair of electrodes 46 and 47 holding the dielectric elastomer 45 between them, the nozzle protector 48 integrally provided with the dielectric elastomer 45 on the printing paper 30 side of the dielectric elastomer 45, a voltage impressing part 61 for applying a voltage between a pair of the electrodes 46 and 47, and a controlling part 59 which controls the voltage impressing part 61.
