PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting work method for a female screw member by a machining center, capable of machining the round screw groove of the female screw member having the comparatively large round screw groove for a short period of time and with high accuracy by using the machining center. SOLUTION: The female screw member 100 mounted on a table 5 of the machining center is formed with the round screw groove 1 cut and machined by a blade portion 2 by axially rotating the cutting tool 3 inserted and attached to the main spindle head 4 of the machining center and moving the cutting tool in X, Y and Z axial directions.
