PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphere machining device that solves the problem that a difference in the dimension of spheres after machining tends is liable to be generated and an outer peripheral part of a rotary table is liable to be worn. SOLUTION: At least one agitation promoting shielding plate 5 having a sphere passing gap G between itself and the upper face of the rotary 2 is provided on a fixed platen 3. A guiding surface 5f for guiding a sphere B moving in the rotational direction of the rotary table 2 downward and inward of the radial direction is formed on the surface of the shielding plate 5 with which the sphere B collides.
