According to a second consideration, a valve device (128; 228; 328; 428) for metering a fuel feed to the heating unit is connected downstream of the fuel transfer pump and upstream of the heating unit. According to the invention, according to the second consideration of the invention, provision is made for a control device (32; 132; 232; 332; 432) to be provided that is suitable for controlling the fuel transfer pump for transferring fuel in a park heating mode of the heating unit such that it is operated at a power input that is lower than a power input of the fuel transfer pump operated in an auxiliary heating mode of the heating unit.
