<p>A plasma display device which lowers the output impedance of a scanning electrode drive circuit (43) without increasing withstand voltage of a switching element constituting the scanning electrode drive circuit (43). A clamping part (70) in a sustaining pulse generation circuit (62) has a first clamping switch (Q71) which clamps the output to a high voltage side (Vsus), a first separation switch (Q72) connected back-to-back with the first clamping switch (Q71) in a node (N1), a second clamping switch (Q74) which clamps output to a low voltage side (GND), and a second separation switch (Q73) connected back-to-back with the second clamping switch (Q74) in a node (N3). The output of a first waveform generation circuit (66) generating a downward inclined waveform voltage is connected with the node (N1), and the output of a second waveform generation circuit (64) generating an upward inclined waveform voltage is connected with the node (N3).</p> |
