A tool transfer apparatus of the magazine for the automatic tool changer is provided that the tool falling due to the position error is prevented in the exchange of tool as the tool is accurately disposed in the exchange site. A tool transfer apparatus of the magazine for the automatic tool changer comprises a servo motor(100) generating the rotation power, a reducer(130) decelerating the number of rotation of the servo motor, a sprocket(170) fixed to the lower part of reducer, a chain(180) mounted to the amount toothed gear of sprocket, a tool port(190) which is fixed to the chain with the bolt and moves, a fixing unit(270) installed at the exchange site(260) to fix tool the tool port.
