<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately lubricate gear parts even when a drive pinion gear or a ring gear is continuously rotated at a high speed and lubricating oil is gathered on the side of a drive pinion shaft with the influences of its centrifugal force and changed into a lubricating form with local circulation. <P>SOLUTION: This final drive lubricating structure comprises a lubricating oil holding case 24 provided on the upper inner wall of a carrier 2, wherein scraping operation due to the rotation of the ring gear 7 carries and holds lubricating oil 21 residing in the carrier 2 into the lubricating oil holding case 24. The lubricating oil holding case 24 is opened by an opening/closing cover 26 deformed with its temperature rising over a specified one during continuous rotation at a high speed, in particular, for supplying the held lubricating oil into an engaging portion between the ring gear 7 and the drive pinion gear 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
