<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electric damper device enhancing ride comfort of a vehicle by attenuating vertical motion of a wheel to the optimum state and always performing regeneration without allowing quick conversion to heat. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular electric damper device attenuates vertical motion by converting relative vertical motion of the wheel relative to a vehicle body to rotation motion and rotating the electric motors 35L, 35R, and the electric motor generates attenuation force for attenuating the vertical motion of the wheel. The vehicular electric damper device has: a displacement speed detection part for calculating a displacement speed that the wheel displaces in a vertical direction; a drive current setting part for setting a target drive current of the electric motor based on the displacement speed; and motor drive parts 106L, 106R for driving/controlling the electric motor based on the target drive current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
