<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, an image forming system and an image forming method, suitably preventing deterioration of image quality of an image. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes: an image support for supporting a latent image; a developer carrier having recessed parts regularly arranged on the surface thereof; a contact member, which is made of elastic rubber body, abutted on the surface of the developer carrier, and vibrated with the rotation of the developer carrier; and a controller. In the controller, after the rotation of the developer carrier is started, the rotating speed of the developer carrier is increased to a first rotating speed V1 in which a movement speed of the surface at the time of rotation of the developer carrier is larger than a product of a pitch of the recessed parts in a peripheral direction of the developer carrier by the number of vibrations of the contact member when a loss tangent obtained by dividing a loss elastic modulus of the contact member by a storage elastic modulus is the greatest, and after the rotating speed of the developer carrier reaches the first rotating speed, the rotating speed of the developer carrier is decreased to a second rotating speed V2 in which a movement speed is smaller than the above product, and the developer carrier rotating at the second rotating speed is caused to develop the latent image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
