PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus which removes odor, which fills the inside, with a simple and inexpensive composition. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus which prints an image with a toner is provided with; a judging means which judges whether odor is generated from the print mechanism; and an exhaust fan which operates on the basis of the judgement. The judging means is constituted so that it may perform the judgement on the basis of an image printing rate, since as the printing rate becomes larger, a toner consumption quantity increases, and consequently a large amounts of odor is generated. Further, the image forming apparatus is provided with a detection means which detects that a user approaches. When user approach is not detected, the exhaust fan operates. That is, the odor is exhausted when there is no user around the image forming apparatus, and consequently the user is prevented from smelling the odor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
