PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, in a laser marking device which is recently in widespread use, wherein measures are insufficient against breakdown that may occur when a laser light emitting part ASSY is subjected to a great impact due to toppling over etc. of the device in transit or in an installed state and thereby the optical system precisely adjusted or a bearing of the gimbal part gets out of order. SOLUTION: In the laser marking device, at the time of non-operation of the device, the cylindrical lower part of the light emitting part ASSY member swingably supported by a swing mechanism part to be vertically suspended is formed as if it were fixed by holding it with two levers that are energized in the closing direction by a spring and simultaneously open and close in a plane parallel to a base member, to thus solve the problem.
