PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matters from intruding into the sliding part of a plunger from a spool valve side even when a structure in which suction into an electromagnetic actuator is performed from the spool valve side is adopted. SOLUTION: A shaft 11 for transmitting the drive force of the plunger 14 to a spool 4 comprises a large-diameter pipe part 11a so disposed as to extend through a magnetic opposite part 18b, and a small-diameter pipe part 11b inserted into the plunger suction hole 14a of a plunger core. The oil sucked from a solenoid front chamber A to the electromagnetic actuator 2 side is inevitably guided into the large-diameter pipe part 11a. Since the shaft 11 is formed in a stepped structure, the foreign matter mixed in the oil is deposited inside the large-diameter pipe part 11a. Therefore, the foreign matters are prevented from being guided to the plunger front chamber B and a plunger rear chamber C, and the plunger 14 is prevented from sliding defectively. Since a plate 24 formed of a non-magnetic material is supported between the stepped surface of the shaft 11 and the plunger 14, the manufacturing cost is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
