PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain protective device which can effectively suppress disorder of cerebral neuronal cells by efficiently and correctly controlling the temperature of brain. SOLUTION: The brain protective device is provided with a blood circulation path 10 which can be freely connected with a human body K, a dialyzer 5 which is arranged in the blood circulation path 10, a blood pump 14 which allows blood to circulate between the human body K and the dialyzer 5, a dialysis solution delivery system 21 which supplies the dialyzer 5 with dialysis solution and a dialysis solution circulation path 20 which is connected with the dialyzer 5 and through which the dialysis solution is circulated between the dialyzer 5 and the dialysis solution circulation path 21.
