GERMICIDAL AGENT COMPOSITION FOR LEGIONELLA

摘要

A composition comprising compounds having germicidal effects is provided to control Legionella sp. bacteria and improve the germicidal effects as compared to the use of single compound. The composition for controlling Legionella sp. bacteria comprises 1-10 wt.% of benzalkonium represented by the chemical formula(1) wherein R is C8-18 alkyl or alkenyl, and X^- is chlorine, bromine, iodine, sulfuric acid ion, nitric acid ion or nitrous acid ion, and 0.1-2 wt.% of isothiazolone represented by the chemical formula(2) wherein R is hydrogen or chlorine.
