<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of auxiliary power supply wiring lines each for guiding output of a redundant power supply to each storage device when providing the redundant power supply for supplying power to the storage device. <P>SOLUTION: This storage subsystem has: a plurality of disk units 10-16 storing data from a higher order computer; a plurality of power supply devices 18-24 each supplying DC power to each the disk unit 10-16 through a main power supply wiring line 36-42; and the redundant power supply device 26 generating the DC power to a load using one of the respective disk units 10-16 as the load. As the auxiliary power supply wiring lines each guiding the output of the redundant power supply device 26 to each the disk unit 10-16, a common power supply wiring line 44 common to the respective power supply devices, branch power supply wiring lines 46-52 branching from the common power supply wiring line 44, connected to the respective disk units 10-16, and a redundant power supply wiring line 54 connecting the redundant power supply device 26 and the common power supply wiring line 44 are wired to a backboard 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
