PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge dewatering method which enables the dewatering of sludge not more than 60% of a water content by electro-osmotic dewatering even if the sludge does not contain many components which are easily dewatered such as a fiber or a sand fraction. SOLUTION: In the method for carrying out dewatering treatment of the sludge generated in biological treatment of drainage by an electro-osmotic dewatering apparatus, the sludge is loaded with an iron inorganic flocculant, stabilized and then subjected to dewatering treatment by the electro-osmotic dewatering apparatus. The iron inorganic flocculant is preferably ferric sulfate and its loadings are preferably 5 to 20 wt.% by iron conversion based on the SS of the sludge. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
