PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely cool a heat radiation plate or a drive circuit board on which heat generating components such as an imaging element and an IC are mounted, without damaging photographing operability for an operator. SOLUTION: An air inlet 81 and an air outlet 82 are provided on an outer surface of a camera main body 10 and in order to generate an air flow through a drive circuit board 37 by a cooling fan 84 for forcible air cooling, the air inlet 81 and the air outlet 82 are located at positions holding, in a plane direction, the drive circuit board 37 on the outer surface out of a grip part 13 of the camera main body 10, so that when the operator performs photographing operation while holding the grip part 13 in the hand, the air inlet 81 or the air outlet 82 is not closed with the hand. Thus, the drive printed circuit board 37 that becomes a heat source for an imaging element 34 can be surely cooled without damaging photographing operability for the operator.
