PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor for efficiently compressing a refrigerant, by preventing generation of abrasion and frictional heat by reducing friction by a vane and a housing. SOLUTION: This compressor 100 has the housing 1 having a rotor chamber 13 inside, a rotor 2 eccentrically rotatably arranged in the rotor chamber 13 and having vane grooves 22a-22d in an outer peripheral part, and vanes 23a-23d projectably stored in the vane grooves 22a-22d of the rotor 2, and rollers 4a-4d rollingly contacting with an inner peripheral surface of the rotor chamber 13 are arranged in an outer peripheral part of the vanes 23a-23d. The friction is reduced by rollingly contacting the rollers 4a-4d with the inner peripheral surface of the rotor chamber 13, and generation of the abrasion and the frictional heat can be prevented. Oil grooves 23a-23d orthogonal to the radial direction of the rotor 2, are arranged on an end surface of the rotor 2. Thus, an oil film is formed between the end surface of the rotor 2 and an inside end surface of the housing 1, and leakage of the refrigerant can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
