摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile pier which is light in weight, proof against salt damage, high in proof stress, and can be constructed at a lower cost than a conventional pile pier. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the pile pier, concrete floor slab bearing girders 16 for bearing a floor slab are formed for each pile row 18 of support piles 10 erected in a plurality of rows, in a manner straddling pile heads of the piles, and a floor slab member 13 made of precast concrete is extended between the floor slab bearing girders 16 adjacent to each other, to thereby construct the floor slab 11. Then arched rib bearing girders 20 which are arranged under the respective floor slab bearing girders 16 in parallel with the same, are supported by the piles of the pile row 18, and arched ribs 12 made of precast concrete are extended between the arched rib bearing girders 18 and fixed to the same, followed by supporting a central portion of the floor slab member 13 by an upper surface of an arched crown portion 12a of the arched rib 12.
