PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament nonwoven fabric shrinkable at low temperature and having a high shrinking stress sufficiently shrinkable even when laminated with a fabric, paper, or the like, and to provide a method for producing the filament nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: In the filament nonwoven fabric and the method for producing the filament nonwoven fabric, the filament nonwoven fabric is composed of filaments having a peak of the shrinking stress between 50 and 100°C, and a peak value of≥2.94×10<SP>-4</SP>N/dtex. The filament nonwoven fabric is applied to temporary adhesion of a fabric prepared by catching spun and drawn filaments on a moving conveyor net or the like, at a temperature not higher than the peak temperature of the shrinking stress+30°C and then retaining the shape by mechanical entanglement.
