PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bed apparatuses sharing major components between a single cushion type and a double cushion type. SOLUTION: This bed apparatus includes a head board 3, a pair of connection members 21 having respective one ends connected and fixed to the inner faces of width-directional one end and the other end of the head board, a foot board 4 having the inner faces of its width-directional one end and the other end connected and fixed with the other ends of the pair of connection members, a bottom mattress 27 provided by mounting its width-directional both ends lower faces on the upper faces of the pair of connection members, and an upper mattress 13 mounted on the upper face of the bottom mattress.
