Disclosed is a jacket film for a battery cell, which has excellent heat resistance, alkali resistance, impact resistance, low-temperature/high-temperature cycle resistance and wear resistance, is easy to be recycled, and shows less shrinkage during storage. Also disclosed is a packaged battery cell utilizing the jacket film. Specifically disclosed is a thermally shrinkable jacket film for a battery cell, which is intended to be used for covering a battery cell, and which comprises a surface layer (A) comprising a polyester resin, an intermediate layer (B) comprising a polystyrene resin, and a back layer (C) comprising a polyester resin in this order.
