A powder separating apparatus for a pulverizer is provided to efficiently perform a pulverization operation by installing a rotary brush along an inner wall surface of a pulverization chamber of the pulverizer, to obtain a driving source of the rotary brush from a powder collecting unit installed in a bottom part of the pulverizer using a geared motor, inverter motor or power transmission unit, and to effectively remove unnecessary wind pressure generated in the pulverization process by installing a bag on one end of the pulverizer. A powder separating apparatus(20) for a pulverizer(1) comprises a "ݘ" shaped rotary brush(21) installed in a "ݘ" shaped space at the edge of a pulverization chamber(8), a plurality of brush hairs(25) formed on an outer side of the rotary brush at predetermined intervals, a drive shaft and a driven shaft formed on both sides of the rotary brush, a body(18) having shaft holes formed in both sides thereof such that the drive shaft and driven shaft are installed in the shaft holes, and a power transmission unit connected to the drive shaft of the rotary brush. The power transmission unit is a universal joint(24) connected to a powder collecting unit with a drive source. The brush hairs of the rotary brush are made of a rigid wear resistant material, and end portions of the brush hairs are surface contacted with an inner wall surface(14) and an outer peripheral surface of a mesh(12). The powder separating apparatus further comprises a projecting pipe(36) connected to an outlet(15) installed in a back part of the body, a sack type bag(37) connected to an outer periphery of the projecting pipe and banded by a band, and a lateral member(40) to which a top part(37a) of the bag is fixed.
