Electromechanical door lock

The electromechanical door lock (1) has a rectangular housing (2) containing a sliding locking bolt (3). An electrical actuator, especially an electric motor (4) is mounted adjacent to the bolt. A spring-loaded catch (5) is located on the other side of the actuator mechanism. The catch may help to center the bolt in the corresponding opening in the door frame plate (6). The catch has a movable central part (5b) and a wedge-shaped outer part (5a) engaging in a small opening in the door frame plate. A linkage (7-9) connects the actuator to the bolt and there is a holder (10) blocking motion of the catch.
