A base member of a digital microphone and a manufacturing method thereof is provided to maintain a digital microphone steadily by forming a thin conductive film on a base member of the digital microphone by insert molding. A conductive film carrier has a successive band form and comprises an opening, a branch extended to the opening and a conductive film piece(20) located in the end of branch. A mold having a ring shape is installed at the opening. The conductive film piece is combined in a base member(10) into one body by injecting synthetic resin into the mold. The notch of boundary between the branch and the conductive film piece is cut with vibration. The conductive film piece comprises a vertically-extending section and a horizontal extending section. The vertically-extending section(21) is extended to the lower-part from the upper side of the base member. The horizontal extending section(22) is extended to the side direction outside from one end part of the vertically-extending section.
