The invention relates to a machine tool which comprises a machine frame, a first workpiece support unit arranged on the machine frame and having a workpiece holder, at least one tool support unit arranged on the machine frame and a working chamber in which a workpiece held in the workpiece holder can be machined by means of the tool. The aim of the invention is to increase accuracy of machining of said machine tool. For this purpose, the tool support unit has a tool support base, a guide arm, extending with a longitudinal axis, and a tool turret held on the guide arm. Said tool turret has a turret housing arranged on the guide arm relative which housing the turret head can be rotated about a turret axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. An intersection between a tool plane of the turret head and the turret axis lies inside a geometrical cylindrical space about the longitudinal axis and has a radius that corresponds to an average radius of the guide arm. |
