A fusing unit and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided to prevent both end parts of a belt from being damaged due to rubbing. A fusing unit for an image forming apparatus comprises a belt(210), first and second end supporting members, and a lubricant containing portion. The first and second end supporting members support both end parts of a cross direction for the rotational direction of the belt. The lubricant containing portion contains lubricant while being formed in one or more outer circumferences among the first and second end supporting members. The lubricant containing portion comprises a groove. The lubricant containing portion is formed along one of the rotational direction of the belt, the cross direction of the rotational direction, and a direction inclined for the rotational direction. |
