A focal plane shutter 100 has a front curtain 110 and a rear curtain 120. A support mechanism, which may include support parts 140, 160, is coupled to one side of the front curtain and the rear curtain. A movement mechanism, which may comprise two interlinked cam levers 170,180, movably contacts one side of the support part, preferably via arms 132,142,152 so that either the front curtain or the rear curtain is independently moved by the motion of the movable parts. |
