<p>The coupling has a rubbery-elastic clutch body and segment plates that are vulcanized axially outside. A segment is fastened to a common support ring (17) with a flange (22) that surrounds an axial side of the ring, and is provided at periphery of the ring. The flange is formed at an outer peripheral surface of a ring body in a non-cutting manner. The ring body is flat rectangular in cross-section. The flange is outwardly shaped at sides with respect to a central recess in the periphery of the ring. The flange is formed with respect to a molding tool. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a torsionally flexible shaft coupling.</p> |
