An IC card settlement device and a method thereof in an online game system are provided to enable a user to conduct account settlement of all games more conveniently and quickly through a charging-type ID card provided from an online game company. An IC card(100) is charged with a game settlement fee by a user. An IC card reader(200) reads game settlement fee information charged within the IC card, and transmits the read information. A game client(300) comprises as follows. An IC card interface module(310) performs an interface function with the IC card reader. When a fee payment request message is received from a fee payment server as various charges in accordance with usage of an online game are generated, a fee payment processing module(320) cuts down charged fees of the IC card as many as the currently generated payment fees. |
