<p>A coat hanger support (1) comprising a body (2), one or more means (3, 4) for suspending the body (2) from another structure having a linear edge extending in a direction, and at least one means for supporting a coat hanger (5) on the body (2). The support is arranged so that a coat hanger supported by it may extend either substantially parallel to or substantially perpendicular to the linear edge. The linear edge may be the top of a door or a wardrobe rail. The coat hanger support preferably has a curved hook 4 at one end and an L-shaped hook 8 at the other end which is in a perpendicular plane to the curved hook. The curved hook can be rotated to support another coat hanger. The L-shaped hook can preferably be pivotally mounted so it can be folded parallel to the coat hanger support body or perpendicular to the body. The coat hanger support is preferably elongate and has a plurality of spaced apart closed loops 5, or partial loops adjacent one another and extending towards a common axis, for supporting coat hangers, which are shaped to restrict a coat hanger mounted on them from falling off regardless of the coat hanger supports orientation.</p> |
