A manufacturing method of sound-absorbing material using vermiculite is provided to have excellent sound-absorbing property and superior absorbing moldability using vermiculite as the main raw material. A manufacturing method of sound-absorbing material using vermiculite comprises steps of: mixing vermiculite powder and the bogland powder in which moisture is removed by thermal process, loading water glass and granulizing it; heating up the manufactured granule firstly and drying it; spraying the water glass on a surface of the dried granule and coating it; molding the granule in which the water glass is coated in a mold frame; heating and plasticizing the manufactured moldings in 700~900°C secondly; and separating the plasticized moldings from the mold frame.
