A service module downloading system in communication network and a method thereof for installing the service module in a mobile terminal are provided to download the service module without additional service procedure in case that the service module is downloaded and installed in one of wired/wireless terminals. A wired terminal(10) requests service module download. A wire download platform server(40) transmits the service module to the wired terminal. The service module downloads service confirming message. A wireless terminal(20) receives the service module download confirming message and determines whether to download the service module. It requests download the service module in order to download the service module. A service registration server(60) performs transmission of the wired terminal according to a download request. |
