The harvested material release assembly has a tangential supporting discharge conveyor (60) for harvested residue arranged in housing (74). The wide distribution device (84) is arranged downstream to an opening (82) of the housing of the discharge conveyor. The exhaust manifold (92) is arranged downstream to another opening of the housing of the discharge conveyor. The selection unit has a flap (104) assigned to former opening and another flap (106) assigned to the latter opening.
