FIELD: heating systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric heating equipment, and namely to fan heaters, and can be used for heating public electric transport compartments. Air heater consists of hollow casing (1) with air flow inlet and outlet and with fasteners, a heating element assembled and installed in the form of a spiral-shaped element on the support along casing (1), a fan including electric motor (7) placed in shell (6), and impeller (15) taken out after shell (6). Air heater also consists of metal cylindrical removable housing (4) located between casing (1) and shell (6) of electric motor (7) and installed coaxially to the shell (6). Between housing (4) and shell (6) arranged are plates (5) extended along housing (4) and provided with holes along their length. Spiral-shaped heating element is formed from spiral sections (3) which are located parallel to each other between adjacent plates (5) and electrically series-connected, and the ends of those spirals are fixed on insulators (12). ^ EFFECT: miniaturising the device design at maintaining its operating reliability, increasing air flow, decreasing the level of acoustic pressure produced by air heater, and shortening the time required for reaching the necessary air flow heating temperature. ^ 11 cl, 3 dwg |
