FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: received from the chlorine-magnesium solution synthetic carnallite is dewatered in fluid-bed furnace up to concentration 0.3-0.5% MgO and 0.3-0.5% H2O. Dewatered carnallite is charged into the head mechanism of production line uninterruptedly and jointly with reverse electrolyte, fed from the separator only into the head mechanism of production line. Simultaneously with melting in the head mechanism it is implemented electrochemical purification of melt by means of direct current with current consumption 8000-15000 A h per each tone of charged solid carnallite. The rest part of waste electrolyte from the separator with concentration of chloride magnesium 7-9% is directed to receiving of carnallite from chlorine- magnesium solutions with sludge-electrolytic mixture, extracted from electrolysers of production line. ^ EFFECT: increasing of current output on electrolysers, reduction of chlorine and natural gas consumption for dewatering in fluid-bed furnace. ^ 3 cl, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
