COLD CATHODE FLUORESCENT LAMP

A cold cathode fluorescent lamp is provided to increase the surface area of the inner electrode by forming the second electrode of the coil shape inside the first electrode. A glass tube(114) comprises a discharge space(122). The inner electrode of anode and cathode is formed at both ends of the glass tube. The outer electrode applies the electric field in the inner electrode. The outer electrode comprises an internal lead line(110) connected to the end part of inner electrode and an external lead line(108) connected to the internal lead line. The internal lead line is connected to the inner electrode. The internal lead line is protected by a BID glass(121). The surface of the internal lead line comprises the nickel(Ni) with excellent thermal conductance; the tungsten(W) which has a similar coefficient of linear expansion with the BID glass; the molybdenum(Mo) which rapidly can cool the inner electrode.
