A self-Learning Method of an ACU using an EDR is provided to improve stability of an airbag in preparation of each due-care condition and secure optimum collision performance by continuously updating an airbag algorithm. A self-Learning Method of an ACU using an EDR comprises a step of classifying collision signal according to an airbag algorithm wake-up threshold, EDR trigger threshold, and airbag deployment threshold and judging the deployment of an airbag in case collision signal is conformed to airbag algorithm wake-up condition(S102,S104,S106,S108); a step of deploying an airbag and recording EDR information and freezing in case airbag is deployed(S110,S112); a step of judging whether EDR information is recorded or not in case airbag is not deployed(S114); a step of tuning and updating airbag algorithm based on EDR information record in case collision signal is judged as EDR information record(S116,S118); and a step of operating by adopting airbag algorithm updated in a collision signal is input afterwards.
