<p>A secondary battery is provided to prevent the rotation and separation of a cap down, insulator and bent plate caused by vibration or impact, thereby improving adhesion and durability of a cap assembly. A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly(110), a case(120) and a cap assembly(200). The electrode assembly is formed with a separator between a positive plate and negative plate. The case is has the electrode assembly within. The cap assembly seals the case tightly, comprises a bent plate(150), an insulator(140) employing one or a plurality of protrusions(141), and a cap down(130) employing a plurality of grooves or holes(132) at a place corresponding to the protrusions. The protrusions are inserted while being corresponded to grooves or holes.</p> |
