A method for blasting a rock using an air deck filled with rocks is provided to reduce the amount of explosive and prevent gas from leaking through an upper part of a blast hole filled with a packing material. A method for blasting a rock using an air deck filled with rocks comprises the following steps. Several blast holes(1) are drilled in predetermined depth on a rock. An explosive(2) and a detonator are installed in the blast hole. A space for an air deck is formed in the blast hole. The space for an air deck is filled with pieces of rocks. An opening of the blast hole is filled with a packing material(5). The explosive inside the blast hole is explored using the detonator. |
