A ceiling type air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger 30 installed within a main body 10 of the air conditioner, a first partition member 70 and a second partition member 80 installed in a space formed between both ends of the heat exchanger 30 and detachably connected to each other. The first partition member 70 may be installed close to the upper surface 10A of the main body 10, and the second partition member 80 may be installed under the first partition member 70. The first partition member 70 may be detachably connected to the upper surface 10A of the main body 10 via an arm unit 72 and to the heat exchanger 30. The lower end (70A, fig 6) of the first partition member 70 may be connected to the upper end (80A) of the second partition member 80. Ribs (77) protruding from the lower end (70A) of the first partition member 70 permit the first partition member 70 to be supported on the upper end (80A) of the second partition member 80. A sensor 33 may be installed on any one of the refrigerating pipes 32 for measuring the temperature of the heat exchanger 30. |
