An environmentally friendly antibacterial transfer film is provided to prevent the generation of toxic substances such as acidic materials in the manufacturing process and greatly improve working environment as a whole by using environmentally friendly carboxymethyl chitin, and to prevent the generation of formaldehyde and others causing atopic dermatitis when using the film-applied articles by containing carboxymethyl chitin in a protection layer of the film, and a manufacturing method thereof is provided. An antibacterial transfer film comprises: a base film(1) which is formed of a polyester resin and has a thickness of 12 to 25 mum to maintain a shape; a releasing layer(3) formed by gravure coating an unsaturated urethane-based release agent to a thickness of 0.5 to 1 mum on the base film to separate the base film from a formed article; a protection layer(5) formed by coating a protection coating solution to a thickness of 1 to 5 mum on the releasing layer; a printing layer(7) formed by printing patterns, pictures or photos of various colors to a thickness of 1 to 2 mum on the protection layer; a deposition primer layer(9) formed by coating a deposition primer to a thickness of 0.5 to 1 mum on the printing layer to easily deposit nonferrous metals; a deposition layer(11) formed by depositing nonferrous metals to a thickness of 0.02 to 0.05 mum on the deposition primer layer to maintain nonferrous metallic luster; and an adhesion layer(13) formed by coating an acryl- or vinyl-based adhesive to a thickness of 1 to 2 mum on the deposition layer.
