A belt type banknote counting machine is provided to receive and count a lot of banknotes accurately by conveying banknotes through a belt feeding tool. A feeding belt(110) is contacted with banknotes and performs conveying operation. A feed driving motor is slidably coupled to one side of the feeding belt. An idle winding wheel part(123) supports the other side of the feeding bet. A feeding limit roller(130) is configured to convey only one banknote. A banknote feeding protrusion(111) is formed to be protruded in a longitudinal direction continuously. An engagement groove part(112) is formed in a width direction so as to convey banknotes received in a stacked situation one by one through friction. A gripping protrusion part(131) is engaged with the groove of the banknote feeding protrusion.
