The device (1) has a container (2) e.g. tube, containing a product (P) i.e. mascara product, to be applied. A tool (25) is integrated with the container or an applicator (3) in the absence of utilization of the tool. The tool is chosen among preparation tool, finishing tool e.g. brush or comb, and massaging tool. A vibration source (21) is integrated with the tool during utilization of the applicator or distribution of the product, and removably fixed on the applicator. The vibration source has a vibration generator (30) with a motor mounted on a support made of elastomer. An independent claim is also included for a method for cosmetic treatment of human keratin matter.
