An extension power control system of the railway vehicle is provided to minimize the stop operation of the railway vehicle due to the auxiliary power unit malfunction by being provided the power source through the auxiliary power unit of the other vehicle. A first extension power line(161) connects the auxiliary power unit(111) of the first vehicle (110) to the auxiliary power unit(121) of the second vehicle (120). The first extension power line includes the first switch(124). The second extension power line(162) connects the auxiliary power unit of the second vehicle to the auxiliary power unit(141) of the fourth vehicle (140). The second extension power line includes the second switch. The third extension power line(163) connects the auxiliary power unit of the third vehicle (130) to the auxiliary power unit of the fourth vehicle. The third extension power line includes the third switch(134). The fourth extension power line(164) connects the auxiliary power unit of the first vehicle to the auxiliary power unit of the third vehicle. The fourth extension power line includes the fourth switch. The first connection controller(123) switches ON / OFF the first switch. The second connection controller(125) switches ON / OFF the second switch. The third connection controller(133) switches ON / OFF the third switch. The fourth connection controller(135) switches ON / OFF the fourth switch. The power control systems (112,122,132,142) control the first to the fourth connection controller.
