A method and a server providing a ringback-tone transformation service which inputs a sound source code corresponding to ringback-tone and in which subscriber changes ringback-tone without connecting wireless internet are provided to receive a guide announcement for changing ringback-tone after connecting a call connection control server. A ringback-tone change information comment is transmitted to a mobile communications terminal in case the mobile communications terminal connects(S310). The originator ringback-tone request signal is received from the mobile communications terminal(S320). The call-ID request comment is transmitted to the mobile communications terminal(S330). The call-ID answer signal is received from the mobile communications terminal(S340). The sound source code request comment is transmitted to the mobile communications terminal. The sound source code response signal is received from the mobile communications terminal.
