The apparatus (1) has a positioning unit (5) for positioning hollow elements to be treated (2) from a container, in a predefined position. An introduction device (4) places the elements on corresponding fitting units (3a) of a cylindrical support (3). A support displacing unit (6) has a rotary motor and places the fitting units at specific locations. An unloading device (7) unloads the elements from the support and has two arms that are movable in two directions. An independent claim is also included for a method of placing elements to be treated on a support.
